Point taken regarding stupid and careless bikers but these ricer guys were supposedly doing 100 mph, which is indefensible - on any road.

Blaming the biker for (possibly) being in the wrong place may be valid but the high speeds and the fact that they were racing cancels out any minor culpability on the biker's part.

In any case, the biker is quite dead, which makes any traffic infractions he may have been guilty of, invalid.

Vehicular homicide can be punishable by up to 20 years in my state and recent cases here (drunk driver crashed at 90 mph, killed three teenage passengers in his car) saw 10 years minimum sentence, no parole. Not fun.
