![]() ercool, if the guys at crutchfield told you that you cannot hook up a head unit in your car because of the factory amp they should be fired. It takes about half an hour to hook up a head unit with the proper parts. Buy the head unit of your choice, any one will fit. All you need then is the mounting plate to cover up that nasty hole in the dash, and an adaptor plug that bypasses the factory amp. I bought all my stuff at sound advice, so if you have one near you, check them out. The reason the factory amp cannot be hooked up is because the wattage coming from the factory amp is less than the wattage coming out of most head units (40x4, ect.) Also, if you buy your head unit at best buy or sound advice, they usually will install it for free, so you dont have to worry about it. Hope this solves your problem - John
