![]() You will not only gain a few hp, but you will lose about 50 pounds of weight off of the front end, where you don't want it. This will help with better weight transfer. You can remove all the lines, the compressor, the canistor, and the condensor. I put all mine on a scale when I took it off and it weighed about 50 pounds. ASP makes the best eliminator IMO. It retails for 69.95. It bolts in place of where your ac condensor used to sit. You must run a 1/2" shorter belt with this piece. If your ac is not blowing cold air, then chances are that the freon has already leaked out. The environmentally friendly thing to do is to take your car to a shop and have the system discharged so the freon is collected properly and not dispursed out into the air.
