i had the impact on it for about a half hour, tried using a 2' piece of pipe for leaverage, my biggest prob was keeping the pinion from spinning. i slid a pipe wrench in there with two bolts from the driveshaft and ended up bending the pipe wrench in half, the guy i ended up paying to do my gear said that SOMETIMES it takes up to 600 ft. lbs to crush the sleave.
