Do what I did. Use the factory wires, but instead of running them through the fuel pump relay, wire them directly to the fuse panel. I actually routed mine though a rocker switch and a 30amp relay, but they are still the factory wires. When I switched to carb, I actually pulled all the wiring harnesses from the car and completely ridded them of any circuits that I didn't need. Took about 25lbs of wiring out of the car.
