There's a lot of negative words flying around here boys! Lets all relax a bit.

93VENOMIZED, I am open minded enough to read such material, but I've paid enough for such information (an Engineering degree costs $$$)

While synthetic oil is much better than conventional, oil cleanliness is of utmost importance (I've seen $500,000 engines destroyed by mere dirt). The best test for synthetic oil is to try and start your car in -40 degree weather. Synthetic oil makes a HUGE difference.

Bottom line, change your oil at regular intervals
