			 It all depends on the manufacturer of the pulleys. Most times you will need to buy a new belt. Most pulleys underdrive accessories by increasing pulley size, some kits offer a smaller alternator pulley to regain battery charging and the stock belt can be retained. 			 I agree with 84lx89gt , one thing you can do is put the stock belt on and see how much slack is left on the belt. If is seems to be a little loose then go one size down. 			 I'm running BBK underdrives with a new stock belt.  You can loosen the top alternator mounting bolt and move the alternator as far out as possible to help put the tensioner back into range.  I did this and was able to move the alternator about 1/4-1/2 inch out.
