I looked for this car for over a year. I was already a member of MW when I bought it. I went through ad after ad calling people and looking at cars. Many were trash. Many had owners that didn't know jack and didn't do a good job maintaining. Many were modified (I wanted a stocker).

I took a trip to the metroplex with the sole purpose of looking at and buying a Mustang. All the specialty dealers were WAY overpriced and the ads I called on were all no-go's. I worked my way through all the hopefuls and no cigars. Then I called back a number that didn't answer on the first call and spoke with the guy I bought my car from. It was bone stock, red with black interior, and even though it was an AOD, it sounded nice. I met him in Plano, and when I saw the car, I knew I had found it. The interior was perfect, the paint looked good and was nicely waxed, and the engine was well kept, maintained, and clean with all receipts. Had a slight vibration, but it was merely the tires needing balancing.

My point being, take your time and wait for the right one. Keep looking past the junkyard heaps and the Cletus the slack-jawed-yokel owned cars, and you'll find the one you need.
