My best friend is a police officer, First of all they supposed to give you a warning, second, you can do any thing you want until 11:00pm but you did good in not working on your car after 8:30pm. They are assholes and they twisted the law. I would get more info about that and fight it. I hate when cops eat **** and have nothing to do. Except my best friend. Good luck
