i didn't say they DO use hs kids...
i was venting a bit much, maybe.
i did say "...I guess...they use hs kids" i don't KNOW if they do or not... re: oil burners the engine guy (bob johnson) in sac is tearing down the other shm block before he works on mine to see what the deal is. it could be that the person who drove the thing broke it himself...if there are excessive ring end-gap tolerances, then i may elect to have my shortblock dismantled to save the pain of removing it after it's installed and checked to be certain i'm starting out with something correct...
