![]() '69 and '70 blocks have "unusual" (shorter) deck heights than other years. Great for putting in flattop pistons and making higher compression motors, but more difficult getting intakes.
I ran a '69 block with '70 heads for 10.7:1 in my 351-W Zephyr. I would get something as new as possible, like out of a van or something... Then, building a 351 wont be cheap. It'll take a LOT more small items that will easily add up. You'll be overbudget in no time!!! Build the 302.
