![]() I ususally just lurk in the background and dont post, but I wanted to chime in. It probably doesnt mean much since I am Mercury's friend, and you'll probably just say Im lying to help prove his point, but I was at the 5.0 civil wars in Rockingham. I witnessed the Bullet run 13.6-13.66 at 104 mph three times in the four hours I was there. I talked to him in the pits. He was running stock street tires at 25psi, and I peeked under the car, as well as looked in his open trunk and hood (he was detailing it at the time), and he was BONE stock down to the plastic cover over the rear seat, and the 4800 miles on the odometer. ![]() On a side note most of the 99+ GT's Ive seen run at the track have trapped between 99-104 MPH, and most LS1 (Z28 or Trans Ams -- no SS or WS6) between 101- and 106 MPH. Just for the record my best run at Fayetteville Test and Tune Night (where they are notorious for not prepping the track-- spin city) was a 13.67 at 102 /2.1 60' and .555 reaction I spun halfway through first and again at the beginning of second. I normally run between 13.7 and 13.9, but I baby the car cause I have a fear of breaking something in front of a crowd of people ![]() Tim C |
