Same prob with my motor. I'm going to adapt a dipstick tube that has a threaded fitting, into the oil level sensor in the D.S. back of the pan. Got the dipstick from a pail at the wreckers so I don't know what car it's from.
The sensor hole is below the oil level, but oil will flow up the tube. Just have to cut and make your own marks on the dipstick. ------------------ 82 Mercury Capri 302. Comp. Cams Tremec 3550 3.73's 12.8@106 N/AKevin's Capri |
