Cata and collisions
Easy one. The kitty gets it.
I had this happen - in a way. Driving on a rainy night on a side street, about 30 mph, a cat runs into the road right in front of me - no room. I hit the brakes, car slides to the right - toward a tree! I say "Forget this" and let off the brake. Car straigntens out, I feel a 'thump' and that's all she wrote. No, I didn't go back. Cats never have I.D.tags (could have been a stray), it was raining hard and there was nothing I could do, anyway. Sorry it happened but when the decision is between a cat and a car wreck, the cat loses. Make it a dog and the decision gets much, much harder. |
