Yeah, that motor mount was a great call! The very moment I was reading it in your reply, it all clicked. That's gotta be alot of it. I wish I could see it in person. It's so much easier.

Anyway, your door was built in Metuchen, N.J., but is otherwise your basic 289 2bbl Mustang door.

The tranny code you gave me comes up in my books as a 1966-67 Ford-built 4-speed manual that was originally used in '66 & '67 390ci Mustangs, and '67 390ci Cougars. That is the only listing I can find for the RUG-M or the RUG-M1.

Who knows? Look around for a cast part number or date code.
