![]() At least 90% of your complaint is typical of a TV cable that is not adjusted right. It's an easy adjustment to make. With the engine off, pry the cable adjuster (near the end of the cable) away from the TB, and then push up the locking pin from underneath it. It will be lose now. While applying force to the throttle, against the throttle stop, snap the adjuster back into the TB, and push it together. This will lock it in the correct place. Now, grab the cable on the transmission side of the TB, and pull it foreward a few inches. It should do this with increasing resistance. Then let go, and it should go back to the spot where you adjusted it. If it does, you should be good to go.
