Depending on what year 5.0 you get, it may be really easy. If you get an 87-93 LX 5.0, you will only need some 3.73 gears, hpipe, and a cold air kit. On drag radials, if you're a good driver, that alone could put you in the high 13's.

If you get a 94-95 5.0, they are much heavier cars to begin with. To put a 94-95 5.0 at ~14.1 you will need some 3.73's, headers, hpipe, cold air, 65mm throttle body, and maybe even an intake. With those mods, plus some drag radials, you could see very low 14's, very high 13's with the intake.

Or you could just get a 5.0 and throw a 75 shot on it. That'll reach your goal too, and for only ~$500. Good luck.
