The oil needs to be changed anyway, car is in the shop now so have to wait to get it back. How long do I have before I get the milky oil/smoke/etc - MAJOR problems? it may be a week or two before I can do (financially) anything with the engine.
So if it turns out to be the gasket, how bad is the change? It looks pretty straight forward, but having never done one...Can I do it for a hundred bucks (or ext. warranty will + $100 deductible)? Man, if these problems keep up, I may not be able to DRIVE to the poor house, and will have to hitchhike! |
