![]() The original C code only had a 2 barrel and a single exhaust. If you have an Edelbrock Performer and a Road Demon, then you're well ahead of a stock C code. You desparately need a good exhaust though to take advantage of the induction mods..........and then heads, cam, and on and on.
If you're gonna start from scratch, you can put in a 302 crank with a .030 over bore or you can fit in a 351W in there without much trouble. Extra displacement is always desireable , everything else being equal. 300-350 HP shouldn't be too difficult to achieve if performance is your goal. Rev
