if a pure drag car the nitto 555R will prolly be the best bet. they are the drag tires that barely meet DOT expectations. they will NEVER last you more than 10k miles if you drive em hard. the 555s are pretty solid tires that will last some odd 25 driving hard and maybe 35 with care. kumhos are ok, but I really find them to be mid range performance. the best damn tires I have found for pure traction are the Toyo Proxies TS-1. they are not very cheap though, depending on size they can get to 120 to 300. check www.victoriatire.com for solid prices. also check into Falken ST-115, and BFGoodrich g-Force TA KDW.
