I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you were asking me if it's hooked up wrong, then yes, it sounds like it is. The thin red wire should go from the box to the wire that used to go to the pos coil. If you have both the red and orange wires going to the coil, what do you have going to the pos coil wire in the original harness? Take care, -Chris
