The fact that you spliced into the O2 sensors could be a problem. If your A/F meter draws any power, it will be messing up the voltage being sent to the computer. The computer ignors the O2 sensors and creates a rich condition under WOT, which might explain why the car runs OK when it's floored, but not in between. Did it have this driveability problem before the A/R meter was installed?
I would take out your A/F meter. Also, check the vac at the EGR valve. There is a solinoid that adusts the vac flow. If it's not working right, and allowing too much vacuum to the EGR, it will have the effect of leaning out. EGR flow is also turned off under WOT, I believe. Good Luck. |
