And did the military provide proper hearing protection when launching the shells?

Im a aircraft mechanic, and around jet engines running at full throttle all the time, and feel like my hearing has gone down also. I can barely hear on the phone, and I have to crank my TV volume up so high my wife swears Im deaf.

Funny though, when the military checks my hearing annully, they say everything is ok..makes you wonder?
