I switched to synthetic at 84,000 miles and am still running strong at 165,000 miles... I noticed no leaks other than what was there before the swap, and they didn't seem to leak more, but maybe I was lucky! I have a few spots that leak a little, but no big deal... I think the synthetic was a vast improvement, my car really seems to love it!!
