What I find the funniest in this, is that everyone is babbling about how you want power, get more flow.
Har har har... You'll pick up a whopping 5hp with a catback. WHooo hooo. All the power is sealed up in the 4 cat h-pipe, it's not like the mufflers/exhaust pipes are really restricting you. Any 2.5" mandrel bent cat-back system is gonna give you more flow than what a stock or near stock 5.0 will EVER use. That arguement is null and void. Here's my take, if you want to sound like your car's mufflers are hollow and cheap, get flowmaster, if you want it to sound powerful (not loud) get Dynomax. If you want to get it for less money, buy the Dynomax. You can get a cat-back for that GT for about $170 from Dynomax. If you want to have exclusivity, get Bassani or Borla. If you want loud and raspy, get MAC. [This message has been edited by Unit 5302 (edited 05-12-2001).] |
