![]() I used to hear a high pitched whining noise from my engine. Turns out it was my EGR, and the noise was higher and lower as I drove and slowed down. My car was running pig rich, and it still had some unburnt gas in it, so I guess it caused the EGR to do that. I switched FPRs and leaned it out and it went away. Maybe that additive you use is causing it.
