![]() a few ways:
First get yourself a fuel pressure gauge. screww it into the fuel rail (they usually come with adapters) start the engine and see what the pressure is at idle. It should be between 37-41 psi pull the vacum tube off of the regulator and keep an eye on the pressure, it should go up, also check that you r getting vacum at that line. If it doesn't go up, then your regulator is shot. also, check to see if the pressure holds when you turn the engine off. It sounds like your FPR is no good, BUT hook a scanner up to it and get all of the error codes, and see if something else is cuasing it to run rich, ie. O2 sensor,map, or mass airflow. Good luck
