Don't misunderstand what I stated regarding dogs and skin color and acting on that basis as to whom they'll attack or even growl at. Re-read it.

I stated that dogs are naturally colorblind and certainly do not 'know' one race from another, not that they won't bark at strangers or even someone who may have a slightly different scent than what they are used too. You could train your dog to not bark at black people if you wanted to take the time and effort to do so.

A police dog could also be trained to attack people of any specific color or race although that is probably rare to say the least and I doubt it's the case in the PA case.

That's more about ignorance than anything else.
