I've never thought of those chrome CAI's to be cold air induction's anyway. As soon as the headers start radiating heat (which doesnt take very long at alll
 ) the chrome intake tube soaks up alot of it and gets very hot. So I've always thought of them as HOT air induction. The wrap sounds like a very good idea, who cares if it doesnt look good, as long as your making more power Did you use header wrap or what? I'd like to give this a try on a friend's car.
