Sounds like nobody did worth a squat to me, for what these cars should do. Wonder what the temp was at the track also?

Those Times are about Right for that altitude. Usually S/C cars and Turbo cars are not as affected by the alt. as N/A cars are. I would say there is a good chance that the driver was a big factor but just how big remains to be seen
