unless you open the trunk for them ,just haveing the tonne cover down. should do it. but if its a real concern take the spare out and mount it in the spare wheel well.use a 5lb bottle.
i once thought of building a fake sub box for my bottle but it doesnt get much use now adays. just put the box over it i thought.
