Good post...thanks. Your encounter points up the fact that for many ricers, ignorance is bliss. They know nothing but what other ricers tell them. I loved your totally accurate description of rice-boy mods: A chip, a cold air kit and a big exhaust tip that they describe as 'a chip, intake and exhaust'. Well done. The quarter-mile times were equally amusing. A friend claims he does 12's and he beat me by a carlength. Blind leading blind and the sad part is that they really believe all this nonsense. No wonder there's such a chasm between ricers and Mustangers. Your report from the front bears out the misinformation and plain idiocy that fuels it. |
