I suppose that makes sense if it's just not calibrated correctly.. and not so much a gear ration issue... that's like my gas gauge. It reads empty even though there's like 1/3 tank left.. it's just a couple gallons out of wack... tough it's not an electrical sender for the speedo, I would imagine it could be off
