power source
Hey, I'm hooking up my subs and I need to know where I can hook up the 12v wire for power. I don't feel like going in the engine compartment for it, so is there a place inside the passenger compartment that I can pull from instead? This is kind of urgent because I need the subs in by tomorrow. If it matters I've got a 1997 GT.

well ive hooked up a number of systems, but never heard of getting the power from inside the cabin...if it was possible i think everyone would be doing it...i normally run it through a crack between the door and the hood..usually theres enough room in most cars there for a decent 6gauge power wire...so i still suggest that you run it from the amp by the floor of your door (assuming the amp is in the backseat), then up the panelling to the "hole", then to a fuse kit, (trying to find a place to hold the wirig under the hood of course) then to the battery terminal...its really one of the easier parts of installation....but sorry about the other way...
