Lightbulb Thread views vs replies

Some people have no interest in posting because they have little to add or no time - in most cases - but they like to read the posts anyway.

Some folks are just shy - or lazy.

Some topic titles are misleading and people read the original message but then lose interest.

Some threads have a ton of posts already and members don't want to be lost in the crowd so they don't bother posting.

Some threads aren't worth posting on, to be honest.

We have a lot of 'guests' and they read but don't (can't) post.

I would rather see a thread with a lot of views and a handful of useful or at least interesting posts than a thread with a ton of silly, post 'ho-type posts that add nothing but another number on someone's post count (which I would love to eliminate but can't).
