Flowmasters can get pretty loud, in fact, TOO loud for my taste...
I'd recommend dynomax or MAC cat-backs.... As far as the air silencer.... Removing the air silencer in the 5.0s usually gave you a few ponies at speed, but I've never seen a credible power increase in a modular setup by just removing the air silencer. (The air silencer is the piece that goes from the air filter box to the fenderwell) In fact, for the price, CAI kits don't do much either....
