When I had my stock converter I could foot brake it up to 1500-1700 rpms without my tires spinning. What brand converter are you running? I have a TCI converter and it is suppose to have a flash stall speed of around 3500rpms, but its more like 3000rpms. I can foot brake that to somewhere around 2000 to 2500 rpms no problem, but flashing the converter gets it right up to 3 grand alot better. Also are you running a trans cooler? A must when you have a stall converter!!
Your 60' times could better! I was running 2.1/2.2 with stock 2.73's and stock converter. So get them down and I think you ET's would drop too. Another thing, are you manualy shifting your AOD or are you letting it shift itself? Cause I noticed a .5 sec drop in ET's when I manualy shifted the tranny at a higher rpm. Oh and do you have a shift kit in that AOD???
