![]() I do not have a tranny cooler, but I was planning on getting one. The Converter is a TC performance converter. When I had stock 2.73s and a stock converter I could only get 2.3 and worse 60 foots. I manually shift it, doing the old 1, D, 1, D combo. Although my car holds first till about 5300 so I don't put it in 1 first. I don't have a shift kit in the car but I have one sitting in my room waiting to be installed. I know that with a 2000-2500 launch my car would pull much harder, but I can't hold it that high. And it does not flash at all.
I would like to get this sorted out soon, because on the 20th I have a Mustang race and would like to get in the 13s for it. Do you have any suggestions on why it traps so low?
