![]() Your car is going to overheat at idle without the fan shroud. Without the shroud, the fan will have to be aligned dangerously too close to the rad to work at all.
The best thing to do is get a "slim line" electric fan will a shroud biult in. This will free up some HP and make the engine bay look real nice. I have a black magic eletric on a fliudyne radiator. It works as good as it looks.
