You can use a screwdriver. Just be careful when you do it. You certainly don't want to blow yourself up. That would suck. Remember that the fumes are more flammable than the gas.

It would definitely help if you at least had one friend to help. It goes real smooth with 2 friends. I would siphon most of that gas out of the tank. You'd be surprised how much that will help.
