motors done......woohooo

![]() one of my buddies has a 97gt, (4.6) we hooked up the spray kit on it (45,000 miles) spraying it a 100hp shot, as soon as he shifted into 3rd gear the motor was done, he brought it in for WARRANTY WORK(lol) there was a huge chunk out of the number 1 cylinder, bent valves, it sucked the porcelin part of the spark plug into the hole and smashed it around, after the piston chunk broke the end of the plug. i would have to agree with you on that, i wouldnt spray more than a 75 shot. although some may get away with spraying much more, i wouldnt recommend it. the pistons they have put in stangs since 93 are junk (hyperutectic) i did the same thing in my 95 only i was spraying it a 175 shot. i have heard that if you put new pistons in the 4.6 that motor becomes basically bulletproof. i may be making the switch to 4.6 myself really soon.
