You are correct, I have never lost a Street Race for Money. NOT because I am fast, but because I begged and got what I wanted. PLEASE, lets not rehash.
....... MGMs do have a Long wheelbase that makes them Launch.LOTS of weight that is not easy to shed. The tranformation in the 80's came with the 86. The 86 5.0 is a Roller Motor, the 85 is not. The "Standard" engine is Not an HO 5.0. But why not make an MGM into a Fast Street Car?Not to many around. I only know of 1 that I consider a Street Race Car.He runs a 460 out of a 76 Cougar.Good heads and a Cam and Good gears and such. He runs like a 13.0, not a super fast ride, but he still weighs 4,200 and Drives it Daily. |
