Even if you decide to convert you need to talk to the electrical guy at your local Ford dealer or something like that because there could still be issues. For instance i have a Dodge van that has the voltage regulator on the computer board so if i tossed the computer my alternator would go nowhere ! You may have guages or controls that are routed through the computer that you have to know about before you gut your puter and toss it in the trash !
