![]() I used header wrap once. It did reduce engine compartment temps big time. I wouldn't use it again, though. If you spill anything on it, you're going to smell it burning for months. Coolant was the worst.
I have not heard of the headers melting from it, but I have heard of numerous cases of it retaining moisture, and causing the headers to rust out prematurely. Take care, ~Chris
