Emissions
Forget steel wool in the exhaust, unplugging injectors and plug wires and 94 octane gas.
Go through PKRWUD's checklist and also be sure your air filter is clean. Use the lowest octane gas you can (87). With the cats re-connected, that should do it but try to go on an off-time. Sitting in line sucks. I usually take the 'Stang for a good hard WOT thru-the-gears run just before I go to emissions to heat up the engine, clean everything off and enjoy myself in the process. Highly recommended. |
