![]() Hi Guys,
Hope you don't mind me jumping in right now. I have a JMS chip that was burned for my old cam to help me get through emissions testing, which it did do. This summer I put in a much more aggresive cam (equivalent to the Ford Racing "Z" cam in the 393 crate engines) and right now I'm not using any chip at all. I got the car to idle "pretty good" but it loads up at stoplight and sometimes I put it into neutral to keep the idle steady. My question is should I expect extra HP gains if I send the chip back to JMS to get re-burned with the new cam specs?? Will I notice a difference in acceleration?? What do the guys at JMS actually do to the chip for another 100.00 (on top of the 300+ I paid originally)
