![]() Now I've seen everything. All this commotion about Harley's and Honda's is making my head spin. I've ridden standards, cruisers, and sportbikes. Personally, I've met people so far gone on their bikes that they think any other model is a waste of time. Not just brand, etc.
Guys go to the hospital or the morgue from 74 all the time around here. I still ride it, always have, on everything. Maybe its the old guy in me, but I would rather have an old chief and a Norton Commando, than anything built right now. Shoot, that's a sport bike and a cruiser. Harleys are great. Got their rep from old GI's and their dirt track mascot. Jap bikes copy what works in other markets. The original Superhawk was a direct copy of the 916. They actually bought one and took it apart, matching components along the way. I could go on and on about this crap but I'll just say this. My next bike will be a Fatboy, and I plan on always having an Interceptor around. Maybe I have mulitple personalities. Just don't give me no HD Cobra, thanks. ![]()
