![]() Just letting you know the factory tach is wrong. When I first got my Mustang in 96 I used to run it out until the tach hit 6500 and even bounced it off 7000 a couple times the rev limit never kicked in. When you can you should get an aftermarket tach. I would keep your shift point where it is. If you have the factory camshaft, peak power is something like 5200 and you should shift a little above that, like you do at 5500 that way you keep the engine in the power band. Have fun with the nitrous.
