![]() I'm sorry, I meant to say the egr plate should come right off as well. Its probably just stuck on from years of heat and such. You might be able to bore out the egr plate, but coolant runs through the egr plate to cool in coming air. I'm not sure how close the coolant flows to the opening on the egr plate. Meaning if you bore the egr plate you might hit the water passage, but not totally sure on that.
