First, if you are angry that he raced you with his daughter in the car, why did you run him in the first place? Second do you drive mostly on the street or the strip? For street I'd run 3.73 gears. I don't know how much you're budget is, but I'd look into a good set of heads, an intake, and cam combo. I'd look at the Holley SystemMax II, or the Edelbrock RPM setup. I'd suggest using the whole system, ie the upper, lower intake, the heads, and the reccomended cam. If you want more compression ie more power, have the heads milled. The reason I say use one of these systems is good power production comes from the right combination of parts, not just picking the "best"parts. I hope that helps you out. Good luck.
